The wedding is at sundown on Monday February 29, 2016. We will also be having a ‘rehearsal dinner’ party on Sunday February 28. We will be at the Sea Garden resort several days before and several days after the event if you are interested in hanging.
Save Tons of Money on Flights, Use This Rewards Points Trick
In July 2015 Crystal and Matt flew to Montego Bay, Jamaica for a total of $95. How did we get such a good deal on international travel? We used this simple credit card rewards trick.
We used Chase Ultimate Rewards and rewards points can be earned through the following credit cards:
- Chase sapphire preferred
- Chase ink plus business
- Chase Freedom
Chase Ultimate Rewards are considered amongst the most valuable rewards points out there, and it’s fairly easy to get an approval. The important thing here are Chase’s transfer partners, and it’s where the program really shines.
The trick is to transfer your ultimate rewards points into British Airways Avios!
First, you transfer your Ultimate Rewards points to British Airways, which is a OneWorld partner. You should be able to redeem British Airways Avios on American Airlines. The best way to do this is to first search on AA.com, then once you see the space book on BA.com.
For example, if we wanted to book a flight directly through American Airlines it would have cost 50,000 rewards points. By transferring over to British Airways Avios, it cost us 11,000 rewards points! All we had to do was pay taxes.
There are some excellent sign up deals so check them out!
